I've been working with this babe since I first started photography (a little over 12 years ago!) and it's been so fun to see how we've both grown over the years. We’ve done shoots along Broadway downtown, at waterfalls, in my home, at a hotdog stand in East Nashville, random spots along the road in various places, and more that I’m sure I don’t even remember! Bonnie is also a super talented performer, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her at multiple events (if you have a chance to see her dance - you should jump on it!) But now we finally had a chance to shoot at my studio together for the first time, and it felt so good to create art with her again! I love being able to explore multiple looks and vibes within a session, and it was so fun to just get in flow with each other and see what came out of it. I’m really so happy with how these turned out - particularly the fine art nudes and bodyscapes we experimented with!
In that vein, as a heads up, there is some nudity within these images. (Which goes to show that you don’t need a fancy outfit or lingerie for your session if that doesn’t feel good for you - I believe that our bodies are art, and deserve to be celebrated! Sometimes embracing the vulnerability that can come along with being nude can lead to so much empowerment! Sessions with me are a great opportunity to explore your relationship with your body, and find beauty and strength within it, all in a safe and shame free environment. You are never required to do nude, or implied nude, images during your session. If it feels best to be fully clothed head to toe - we will rock that! If it feels good to be in your birthday suit, then we will embrace that! Your comfort level is so important to me and I’ll never push you to do something that you don’t want to do, and will always respect your boundaries. But just a little reminder - doing something that feels scary can be such a great launch pad for growth!
