Why Wall Art Is Important If You Have ADHD

This post is for my fellow ADHD folks! If you have ADHD you are probably familiar with the notion and experience of object permanence. Object permanence, put simply, is the ability to understand that an object continues to exist, even though it can no longer be seen, heard or touched. This is something that most ADHD folks experience issues with regularly! This is something that most ADHD folks experience issues with regularly! You know the phrase “out of sight, out of mind?” That’s literally what we deal with on a regular basis. If we don’t see it, especially regularly, then it really is easy to forget it exists.

Boss vibes in a field || Editorial Portraits with Stephanie

Talk about a badass! Stephanie is a dear friend of mine, and she absolutely brought all the boss babe rock and roll vibes to this session! I have this amazing field close by my home and I jump at the chance to create photos there whenever possible. It starts looking just perfect around early winter, so when it was prime time for shooting I reached out to Stephanie with a vision. I had this amazing vintage suit that I knew would match the colors in the field so perfectly and have been dying to shoot someone in it- it fit her like it was custom made just for her! We worked in her own personal style around it, and she brought my vision to life better than I could have dreamed! She also brought along this killer sequin jumpsuit and as soon as she pulled it out of her bag I was so on board with it, and I had the perfect vintage channel earrings to top it off. It all come together so magically and I’m in loooooove with these shots!

Fine Art Boudoir- complete with ALL the flowers and bursting with spring colors!

One of the best feelings is seeing a vision come to life- and my goodness did that happen with this shoot! I am absolutely over the moon with this one ya’ll! This style is a little different than most of my boudoir sessions, and it just goes to show that the style of boudoir doesn’t have to stick to one “look”! I wanted to explore this color pallet, complete with LOTS of flowers, and a more “fine art” editorial vibe. With the help of several amazing women (credits located at the bottom of this post!) this shoot came together in the most dreamy of ways. I’m so thankful for this form of art, and for all the beauty it can bring into the world!
